FAQ

Q:How does channel splitting work?

Import a stereo audio file, then click 'Split Channels'. The tool extracts channel 0 as the left (mono) track and channel 1 as the right (mono) track. You can preview, download, or save each channel separately.

Q:What format are the exported channels?

Each channel is exported as a mono WAV file. This preserves quality and is compatible with most audio tools.

Q:Can I split mono audio?

No. Mono files already have a single channel, so there is nothing to separate. Use a stereo (2-channel) source instead.

Q:Is my audio uploaded to a server?

No. All splitting happens locally in your browser. Your files never leave your device.
